In Jyotish, Red Coral is prescribed strictly based on Mars' placement in the natal chart. A myth suggests it shouldn't be worn if Mars is 'weak' (debilitated), but it's often prescribed exactly to compensate for this if the planet is generally beneficial. Separately, Ayurveda warns that Coral's strong Fire can aggravate a Pitta dosha imbalance (quick temper, inflammation), but this is a physical/energetic caution, not an astrological rule.
